Meet Brandi Sutton

Who is Brandi Sutton? With Fayetteville primarily being a military town the majority of the population is very transient, but there are some natives to be found. I am one of them. My grandfather was in the Special Forces and my mom moved here in the late 60s and just never left. Although I promised myself I would never live here when I grow up, after I graduated college from UNC-Chapel Hill, I found myself buying a house 2 houses away from my grandma and 4 houses away from my brother. Fortunately, since I was a kid Fayetteville has continued to grow and improve over the years and no longer feels like it did when I was younger. Plus, it was a blessing to raise my 3 daughters here where they are surrounded by family on both sides. My daughters have been active in multiple sports, especially travel volleyball, so if you have any questions about local or travel sports I would love to help you with that as well.

Why Did I Become a REALTOR? After college I worked in customer service/management for a large corporation, which I enjoyed, but the hours were taking a lot of time away from my family. Fortunately, I was in a position to take a step back and put my family first for a while. However, after a decade of staying at home raising kids I found myself searching for a new path but I needed something flexible that allowed me to still take care of “Mom duties”. At the time I was doing photography on the side when one of my clients, who was an agent, asked me if I wanted to take pictures of a house she was listing. I asked her so many questions that day, and at the next couple of houses I photographed for her, that she finally told me to go get a real estate license because it was obvious I had a passion for it. And she was right!

Not only do I love working in real estate because it’s rewarding to be of service to my clients during such an important time in their lives, but I also love that it’s a profession that allows me to wear multiple hats depending on the type of client/situation, no two days are exactly alike, and there’s always a new challenge or situation to handle. Real estate turned out to be the perfect choice for me because it incorporates the most appealing aspects of various other professions I had previously considered. Plus, it allows me to utilize the same qualities and skills that would be required of them, but in a more unique way!

Additionally, I found another passion within real estate through serving as a mentor to new agents here at Mission Accomplished Realty. I remember the stress, fears, and endless questions I had as a new agent, and I am grateful to the experienced agents who took me under their wings until I was ready to fly solo. I strive to pay it forward by working alongside new agents sharing my time, skills, and knowledge to help them become calm, competent, and confident agents.

I Care About my Reputation, Relationships and of Course Referrals!! As a lifelong resident of Fayetteville with no immediate plans to leave it matters to me what my clients and the people in my community think about me. I want to build genuine, caring relationships with them. And let’s be perfectly honest…connections are important. They can potentially have more power than numbers when it comes to making or breaking a deal. The saying is really true… “People will forget the things you said or did but they won’t forget the way you made them feel”.

Having a good reputation and solid relationships is also key to growing my business through referrals. People want to work with people they know, like, and trust especially in situations where there’s a lot of money and emotions involved. My ultimate goal in every deal is to earn a future referral from you. It’s not enough to just help you buy or sell a house. I want you to feel so satisfied with the entire process that you refuse to let your friends and family take a risk by not using me as their trusted real estate agent and advisor!

I Understand Roles and Responsibility…My number one responsibility as your agent is to educate. You’re likely going to have a ton of questions. Don’t feel bad about asking them! I am here to educate you on the current market conditions and guide you through the process step-by-step from start to finish. I can assist you with finding a lender, attorney, inspector, and contractor/repairman and will explain everything that goes on each step of the way. I’ll explain words like Due Diligence and walk you through that intimidating inspection report!

In addition, I will also serve as your liaison. I understand that your time is important and this can be a time-consuming process. There are many parties involved and I will do everything in my power to handle as much of the transaction as possible to make it as stress-free as I can for you. In addition to coordinating with the lender, appraiser, attorney, and inspectors I can also facilitate any repairs or remodeling that needs to occur. This is especially helpful for out-of-state buyers and sellers.

Most things in real estate are straightforward, but there’s also curveballs that may be thrown at us at any time. In all situations I am here to explain the scenario, provide you with your options, be an advocate, negotiate on your behalf, and make sure you feel supported at all times!

I am a great listener. I know that buying or selling a home can be deeply complex and highly personal. It can be something that you have highly anticipated and are super excited about and there are life circumstances that may put you in a situation where you have to unexpectedly buy or sell although you didn’t necessarily want to. Perhaps there may be certain concerns you don’t feel comfortable discussing or you think you might be judged. I’ve even had friends who initially hesitated to ask me to be their agent because they were embarrassed for me to see or know certain things that would come up in the process. Thankfully they trusted me enough to eventually open up about the reason and we were able to deal with it. In the end they told me they were so glad they decided to choose me as their Realtor, someone they realized was patient, empathetic and that they could trust.

It’s absolutely normal to experience a wide range of emotions throughout the buying/selling process. I promise that you can express all your thoughts and concerns without hesitation and we will work through them together. I’ll be your real estate therapist (minus the couch and the hourly fee!) and we’ll have fun throughout the process!
