Meet Charleston Wallace

My name is Charleston Wallace and I was raised to serve. I know, I know, sounds like the cliché introduction of other REALTORs® who pride themselves on service, but really, some of my earliest memories are of serving my community. For instance, my parents taught me to write cards for the sick and we’d visit elderly church members in the hospitals to lift their spirits. Afterwards, my Mom and I would sit down and we’d pray for those dealing with unfortunate circumstances. She taught me humility, care, and empathy.

I remember my Dad leaving for extended periods for deployments and working long hours, but in his spare time he directed the church choir and coached youth basketball. Naturally, he encouraged me to get involved with sports and in the choir, I took up the drums. I saw these as opportunities to be involved and to serve like the example he set before me. He taught me leadership, sacrifice, and action.

Growing up the son of a Sailor (a true “Navy Brat”) we’d travel coast to coast and even overseas where sports, basketball specifically, became my coping mechanism for the constant moving cycle. Being a fierce competitor, I always sought to be the “go-to” guy on the team. At times I’d fall short, but nonetheless, my goal was to serve the team to the highest of my ability. My desire to be involved spread into other areas of interests as well. I served as a percussionist in the marching and concert band, continued to play the drums for my church, and competed on various teams within our Navy Junior ROTC program. Choosing to be a dedicated team member paid off. I accepted a 4-Year Army ROTC Scholarship and immediately got to work, first serving in a subordinate role and later leading my University’s Color Guard and Ranger Challenge Team. I went on to become an Infantry Officer and would later serve in the Special Operations Community where I was immediately handed tough assignments and trusted to lead Soldiers in Combat, High-Risk Training, and Joint Interagency Intergovernmental and Multinational Environments.

Upon getting stationed at Fort Bragg, I decided to obtain my real estate license with the initial intent to help out the occasional friend with their home buying or selling needs in my off-time, but it became so much more than that! After another deployment I successfully added houseflipping to my repertoire. And then it hit me. I began reflecting on the many lessons I’d learned from my time with my family, sports, college, the military, helping friends buy and sell property, and beautifying eyesore properties all over the community. I was led to this full-circle realization where I saw my unique experiences being used to start a real estate brokerage  where I could cultivate a team of like-minded agents who also have the desire to educate and serve people in our community to a high degree. It all felt natural. So after nearly a decade of service as an Army Officer, I made the tough decision to part from a rewarding military career to focus specifically on real estate.

Mission Accomplished Realty is a result of my efforts to pour my background into a real estate company capable of handling any real estate related need for the community. Contact me, or any member of our team, and we’ll work to get the Mission Accomplished to the standard you expect while providing an experience you’ll enjoy.
